Becky Kivlovitz O’Connor is a novelist, freelance writer, editor, teacher, and content developer based in Boulder, Colorado. She teaches, writes novels, travel/lifestyle pieces, and edits.

Her work has been featured in R.E.I., Fodor’s Travel, Backpacker Mag, Women’s Adventure Magazine, Texas Music magazine, Wide Open Country, and other publications. Becky has a B.A. in English from The University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in English Studies from Arizona State University.

She has worked in the editorial departments of magazines and publishing companies in Austin, Texas; Boulder, Colorado; and Baltimore, Maryland. You can find her writing with middle schoolers, traveling with her family, re-reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck, or planning her next novel.
